Founded: 1990s

Founder: Zoe Bowers & Friends

We are a "teaching guild" and welcome quilters of all ages and skill levels to join the fun, whether you quilt by machine or by hand.

2016 Book Quilt Project

The beautiful imaginative book quilts made by our members were displayed and sold via silent auction by the Hancock County Library System. Sixteen mini book quilts were sold making $470 for the benefit of our Libraries.  Thank y'all!

Quilt Shows

Every other year, the guild has a quilt show, showcasing quilts made by its members.  As part of the show, we sell tickets to win our opportunity quilt in a drawing and charge a small admission fee to view a large selection of gorgeous quilts, shop multiple vendors, and attend multiple mini-workshops for those interested in learning a skill in quilting or other fiber arts.  The proceeds above what is needed to finance the next show is divided among charities nominated and voted on by members of the guild.  This year, our guild voted for portions of the proceeds from our 2015 quilt show to support Brenda's House, Friends of the Animal Shelter & Starfish Cafe.
